Transfer images for my e class!

These are the "last" lot of images, l've done for this "Transfer Love" class l am involved in..which l am so enjoying. If you can afford it..do it..its amazing.

Once l did the transfers..l cut them out..and this is what you see above. They will eventually be put into my Art work in my journal!

"Transfer Love" class

It is great fun and it last 8 weeks. It is a class that teaches you all about transfer work..so you work at your own rate for the week..after being given notes and a video which gives instructions, tips etc on a Monday!! I know notes are good but l still find it so much easier when you can see what is actually happening..if you see what l mean!Hax
I am so pleased with this piece.

Hand-painted Silk Card.

The card below is one l made for a friend's wedding. They are pieces of hand-painted silk, stuck on to a plain white card.

Today's  2 images are my pieces for the Round Robin Journal l am doing over the next 15 months. This is the second month..title of this journal is SURREAL.
So the first month was my journal..LANGUAGE.

 2nd month...SURREAL and l have titled it " Depth".

So this will go in the post tomorrow! It is really nerve racking doing work in someone else's journal. I had never done it before and it took me almost the whole month before l could actual do it! Once l had started, l really enjoyed creating it. Only another 13 to go!

A new hanging(!) and a finished cross-stitch piece.

I have just finished this birthday present for my wonderful daughter-in-law. It is the same small "cushions" l  make my book covers from, but made it into a wall hanging instead. I have also put up an image of a finished crossstitch piece, which l finished a while ago..called "Noah's Ark"! Enjoyx

Below is a close up view of the some of the decorated "Cushions" which makes up the hanging. I will also decorate a wooden stick for it to hang on in the near future. Fingers crossed she likes it!

Below is the Noah's Ark cross-stitch piece. Have not decided yet how to frame it.

on going work!

Oops...can't believe how long it is since l blogged here..sorry! Anyway, l have been busy waxing and sewing....  I am hooked on both.
First some of the latest book covers and in-progress work. First image is of a finish piece that now has to been applied to the signatures of the book and a fastening applied...so exciting!
